MCC Playroom Facility is now closed.   We are now offering a local playgroup for moms in the Seminole and Largo area.  Our playgroup is Christian based, but all moms are welcome!   Please call if you are interested in learning more about our playgroups.  727-798-1678   The following information is no longer valid. PARTIES,  BIRTHDAY OR BABY SHOWERS= reserved use of entire facility.  Parties are held twice on Saturdays, and during weekday evenings only upon time availability. Several Birthday packages are available.  Showers packages are currently under construction, but use of facility using your own party needs is currently available. NEW KINDERGARTEN FOUNDATIONS CURRICULUM=3-5yr olds will meet 2x a week for 2 months learning basic foundation skills not specifically taught in kindergarten. Often our children are expected to learn the smaller, yet crucial, foundation skills while learning more complex skills.  MCC will focus on concrete number concepts, large and small motor skills (hopping, drawing lines), colors, shapes, days of the week, social skills, fun play, letters and sounds to name just a few areas.  SPACE WILL BE LIMITED!  REGISTRATION BEGINS THE LAST WEEK OF NOV 2007.  Children are signed up in 2 month blocks, but continuing education via this class is encouraged for full benefits. PLAYGROUP= A structured group with a leader, starting and ending time and includes: songs, guided activities and crafts, guest speakers, story time, etc.  Playgroups also include open play after each group. OPEN PLAY= An unlimited time for you and your child to join in free play.  Moms may rest in our living room, watch a show, go online, meet with another mom or childless friend just to talk while baby plays, meet for important meetings where you don't want your child interrupting (as much!), grab a bite to eat, enjoy a cup of coffee....whatever you please as long as you remain on site. WORKSHOP= A special event that features a Make N Take theme or Guest Speaker on special topic or a special Demonstration. Most workshops only occur once.  CLASSES= Certified instructor leads in specific area of expertise (fitness, art, music etc) FAMILY TIME (changes with seasons) Pizza Night, open to all ages BINGO night! all ages Home Schoolers Day, open to moms w/ babies and school age After school Play time, older siblings play w/ baby brother or sister BIRTHDAY PARTIES (up to 10 guests) Birthday child age 0-6 yrs Entire facility reserved just for your party (2 hours) Bounce house Paper Supplies provided Balloons Time to open gifts Clean-up Several packages available but all include the above options Additional options include theme decorated cake pizza and drink for each child take home art activity and game activity (theme related) additional 1/2 hour of reserved time choice to add a second bounce house theme related party favors
